What Are Sandwich Panels?
Sandwich panels consist of two outer layers of rigid material, such as pre-painted galvanized steel or aluminum sheets, bonded to a lightweight core made of Polyurethane (PU), Polyisocyanurate (PIR), Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), or Mineral Wool. This configuration provides outstanding thermal insulation, acoustic performance, and structural strength, making them suitable for walls, roofs, partitions, and cold storage facilities.
Panels
Polyurethane Foam Panels (PUF)

PU Sandwich Panels, also known as Polyurethane Sandwich Panels or Polyurethane Energy-Saving Panels, are high-performance building materials designed for superior thermal insulation and structural efficiency. Manufactured through advanced continuous production lines, these panels consist of a rigid polyurethane foam core securely bonded between two pre-painted galvanized steel sheets.
Ideal for use in roofing, wall cladding, cold storage, industrial enclosures, and prefabricated structures, PU panels combine strength, insulation, and aesthetics in one product.
Key Features
- High Thermal Insulation: Low thermal conductivity (~0.022 W/m·K) for excellent energy efficiency.
- Structural Strength: Rigid construction provides stability and load-bearing capacity.
- Lightweight Design: Reduces load on the foundation and simplifies transportation & installation.
- Fire Retardant: Available with fire-resistant PU formulations as per project requirements.
- Weather Resistant: Durable outer layers protect against moisture, corrosion, and UV radiation.
- Aesthetic Finish: Available in multiple colors and surface textures.
Polyisocyanurate panel (PIR)

PIR (Polyisocyanurate) Sandwich Panels are high-performance insulation panels designed for enhanced fire resistance and superior thermal efficiency. The core insulating material is formed through a chemical reaction between isocyanate and polyether, catalyzed to create a rigid, closed-cell foam structure. Compared to conventional polyurethane (PU) panels, PIR panels offer improved fire resistance, dimensional stability, and long-term thermal performance, making them a preferred choice for buildings where stringent fire safety and insulation standards are required.
Key Features
- Enhanced Fire Resistance: PIR foam achieves higher fire ratings than PU
- Low Thermal Conductivity: Excellent insulation with thermal conductivity as low as 019–0.021 W/m·K.
- Lightweight & Impact-Resistant: Low density combined with strong structural integrity and shock resistance.
- Stable Performance in Low Temperatures: Ideal for cold storage, refrigerated facilities, and climate-controlled environments.
- Moisture & Chemical Resistance: Closed-cell structure ensures minimal water absorption and high chemical stability.
Expanded Polystyrene panels (EPS)

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Panels are advanced insulation and construction materials manufactured through a process of steam-heating and compressing polystyrene beads, resulting in rigid, lightweight panels with a closed-cell structure. This structure provides exceptional thermal insulation, mechanical strength, and dimensional stability, making EPS panels a cost-effective solution for a wide range of building applications. EPS panels are widely used in roofing, wall cladding, cold storage units, prefabricated structures, and modular construction systems, where both thermal performance and load-bearing capacity are essential.
Key Features
- Excellent Thermal Insulation: Low thermal conductivity ranging between 032–0.038 W/m·K for effective heat resistance.
- Lightweight & Easy to Handle: Ideal for reducing structural load and simplifying installation.
- Good Structural Rigidity: Despite its low weight, EPS offers significant compressive strength and stability.
- Moisture Resistance: Closed-cell design limits water absorption, maintaining insulation performance over time.
- Cost-Effective: Offers reliable performance at a lower material and installation cost compared to other insulation types.
Rockwool panels

Rockwool Panels, also known as Stone Wool or Mineral Wool Panels, are high-performance sandwich panels designed to deliver superior fire resistance, thermal insulation, and acoustic performance. These panels feature a core made from inorganic basalt rock fibers, which are processed at high temperatures and bonded into a rigid, fireproof, and sound-absorbing material. Widely used in industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings, Rockwool panels are ideal for projects that demand high standards of fire safety, thermal efficiency, and noise control.
Key Features
- Exceptional Fire Resistance: Non-combustible core with fire ratings up to EI 120/180 minutes depending on thickness and configuration.
- Excellent Thermal Insulation: Thermal conductivity of approximately 035–0.040 W/m·K.
- Superior Acoustic Insulation: Outstanding sound absorption capabilities, with Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings up to 30–35 dB.
- High Dimensional Stability: Retains form and performance under varying temperature and moisture conditions.
- Environmentally Friendly: Made from natural stone; recyclable and free from harmful chemicals.
Glasswool panels
Glasswool Panels are high-performance, non-combustible insulation panels featuring a core made of glass fiber wool, a material derived from recycled glass melted and spun into fine fibers. These panels offer excellent fire resistance, thermal insulation, and acoustic absorption, making them a reliable choice for a wide range of industrial and commercial building applications. The unique composition of glass wool provides multi-functional performance—effectively controlling temperature, enhancing energy efficiency, and significantly reducing noise transmission.
